Backstage Blues is fortunate to have him as one of its first assistants. We rely on his acute sense of art and aesthetics for everything from prop selection to location selection and even overseeing our shoots. It’s evident that our Mr Dependable, a veteran of the film industry, carries some heavy responsibilities. The cinephile has also worked as an associate director with Malayalam film director Siddhartha Siva in ‘Sakhavu’ and ‘Varthamanam’. His love of art, culture, and travel certainly rubs off on all of us.
GOUTAM
With a wise head on his shoulders, fingers drumming to the beat of invisible music and ideas forever churning behind his sparkling eyes, Goutam is the glue that binds us together. His dream is to be able to create a positive change in the world we live in today. No spirit or drug has been able to crush his never-say-die attitude and Backstage Blues is proof of that.He weaves his magic through what he sees from behind the camera lens and the results have always been beautiful.
MEHBOOB
Editor. Tinkerer. Movie magician and lensman. A man of few words, he edits, polishes and transforms our videos into the product you see on your screens. As the resident tech geek on our team, he makes work easier by integrating technology in all its forms. He’s also our in-house expert on food and movies.
SAJEESH
He goes where his trusty Royal Enfield Bullet or his inseparable companion- the camera, leads him. Writer, storyteller and cinematographer by profession, Sajeesh keeps the team grounded. A free spirit, you will always find him wandering in search of new adventures or new friends. Either ways, Backstage Blues has always gained by the stories that come from behind his lens.
KARUN
The most laid back guy in the team, he believes in taking life as it comes. This post-production genius can really awe you with his video editing skills and sound designing. A fan of heavy metal music and an ace drummer, Karun can turn any party wild.
CYRIL
Cyril is an advertising professional with experience in small and big ticket accounts. His primary interests are branding, communication and films. Professionally a copywriter, Cyril is a creative handyman who enjoys collaborating across levels.
FLEME
She is sorted and level-headed. A self-proclaimed foodie, she’s our long-distance friend, the homebody and cheerleader. A writer by profession, she gives voice to our ideas and wings to our stories through her charming play with words.
